How can one modality treat so many issues?
Many issues have a similar root cause: mechanical forces caused by structural imbalance.
Neurosomatic Therapists have a deep understanding of how the body is structured, which
muscles pull a persona out of alignment, and how to lengthen those muscles to return a
person to their best, most balanced state.
When we are young, our bodies often compensate well for minor imbalances but as we age,
become injured, deal with illness and other internal and external factors, our ability
to compensate decreases. When a body is balanced, it is one less thing to compensate
for, making the overall system more able to cope.
Working with another provider?
Are you currently working with a physician, physical therapist, chiropractor, or pain
clinic and are wondering if Neurosomatic Therapy will complement your current protocols?
The answer is an emphatic Yes! I would love to be part of your treatment team to help
you meet your health and wellness goals.
Neurosomatic Therapy compliments physical therapy by balancing your body, decreasing
pressure on joints and disks, prepping the muscles, decreasing pain, and allowing the
corrective exercises you’re doing to be more effective. As they say, “lengthen before
you strengthen!”
When working with chiropractors, we often find adjustments much easier to make, and
those adjustments often hold for longer when the muscles are not trying to pull you back
into an old pattern.
Whether you utilize it as a stand-along therapy option or as a part of a treatment team,
I am invested in your healing journey.
Neurosomatic Therapy is a specialization of medical massage therapy. We cannot
